We are a small farm located just south of Spruce Grove, Alberta. We breed Registered Nigerian Dwarf Goats. Our herd is well cared for and clean tested. Our goal is to do what we can to improve the breed through education and selective breeding. We are very proud of our small herd.
Nigerian Dwarf Goats are known for their amazing dairy qualities, gentle friendly personalities and they are also extremely adorable. This breed has one of the highest butterfat content of the dairy goat breeds, which makes it excellent for providing delicious milk for our family, as well as it is great for making yogurt, cheese and soap.
We will do our best to match our Nigerian Dwarf Goats to your purpose whether it be for milking, a pet or breeding. We will ask questions to try to match you with the right animal. As goats are herd animals we will not sell an individual animal to a home where there are no other goats. Please ask if you have any questions and we are happy to provide any information we can.
If you wish to be added to our waitlist please let us know. We will notify you once kids become available and you will have three days to provide a 50% deposit, before we move on to the next person on our list or the kid is advertised for sale. In all cases, we reserve the right to retain any kids for our own breeding purposes.
All available goats will be advertised on our "For Sale" page and a 50% non-refundable deposit will be required to hold. We reserve the right to retain any animal and to refuse the sale of an animal to anyone at our discretion.
We wean kids between 10 - 12 weeks of age. A week prior to the determined pick up date, we will send you an invoice for the balance owing. The full balance of payment will be required before the animal leaves our farm.
Our goats will be in good health, free of disease or injury at time of pick-up. No animal will leave our premises if we are aware of a health issue and every effort will be made to ensure you are happy with your purchase. As goats are herd animals we will not sell an individual animal to a home where there are no other goats.
After leaving our premises we will not be held responsible for the well-being of the animal as stress can cause considerable health issues. We have no control over the feeding and caring of the animal at this point.
We will not replace animals that develop a condition caused by the buyer. Some examples include: Poor health, over weight or under weight, negligence or abuse, etc.
For any of our kids that develop horns, we prefer to leave their horns naturally intact.
We understand and respect differing opinions.
If you would like any information about keeping a goat with horns, or would like to discuss this in more detail, please feel free to contact us.
Are you interested in being placed on our waitlist for our next kidding season or do you just have general questions about Nigerian Dwarf goats? Don't hesitate to reach out, we are here to help!
